No Chelsea or Man City feature in the top 3 players this week but here are the top three;
1. Yossi Benayoun
Benayoun has never really got the chance he deserves at Liverpool and seems to consistently perform well for them when he is on the pitch. A fantastic hat-trick along with a hand in Dirk Kuyt’s goal gives Benayoun top spot this week.
2. Andy Reid
Sunderland are this seasons suprise package so far currently occupying 6th position in the Premiership. A goal and an assist in Sunderland’s 4-1 victory against Hull City gives Andy Reid second spot this week.
3. Jason Roberts
Four points from four games so far for Blackburn and potentially look like the could struggle this season but Jason Roberts helped them to a decent 3-1 victory against Wolves with a goal and an assist.
